New Delhi: Experts from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati predict that the qualifying cut-off for JEE Advanced 2023 will be higher than it was the previous year due to the exam's moderate complexity of the entrance exam.
IIT Guwahati administered the JEE Advanced 2023 exam for all registered candidates on June 4, 2023. The student response sheets were made accessible on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, on June 9, 2023.
"This year, we may see some increase in the final cut-off marks as the overall number of students who appeared this year was higher than last year," said Nitin Arora, Assistant Director (Engg) of Aakash BYJU's Digital.
"The overall cut-off is anticipated to be approximately 17% for applicants in the unreserved category and around 15% for EWS and OBC candidates. The cut-off is anticipated to be about 8% for SC and ST students," according to Arora.
