Jharkhand NEET Counselling: JCECEB Announces Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS, BDS, and BHMS Courses

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released an official notice regarding the Special Stray Vacancy Round for online counseling for M.B.B.S., B.D.S., and B.H.M.S. courses for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates interested in securing vacant seats in these programs can submit their applications from November 20, 2024, to November 22, 2024.

The Special Stray Vacancy Round has been introduced in compliance with directives issued by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), New Delhi. The process will be conducted online, with key dates and activities listed below. This round aims to fill vacant seats in medical, dental, and homeopathy programs.

The National Commission for Homeopathy has also reduced the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET (UG) 2024 by 15%, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking admission. Eligible candidates must fill out the application form for inclusion in the State Merit List.

• Application Submission: Eligible candidates must fill out the online application form by visiting the JCECEB website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Look for the link labeled “Click Here for All Online Application Submission – 2024”.

• Reduced Percentile Requirement: As per the directive of the National Commission for Homeopathy, the NEET UG 2024 qualifying percentile has been reduced by 15% across all categories for UG Homeopathy programs.

• State Merit List: Candidates must ensure their names are included in the State Merit List to participate in the seat allocation process.

• Choice Filling: After the publication of the State Merit List and vacant seat matrix, candidates can participate in choice filling for seat allotment starting November 27, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
