IPU Special Round counselling for admission to MBBS for AY 2024-25 session 2024-25 has been started and last date of choice filling is November 28, 2024. Read the article below for more details.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is conducting Special Round counselling for admission to MBBS programs for AY 2024-25. Candidates must fill their choices by November 28, 2024. Admission will be made based on merit in NEET UG 2024.

Process Affter Result Declaration
Candidates must follow the following steps after the declaration of result of Special Round counselling.

Note: Choice filling is mandatory for admission. If a candidate is allotted a seat in Special round then he/she must join that college otherwise he/she will be debarred fron NEET exam for next 1 year with forfeiture of fee.
GGSIPU Special Round Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must exercise fresh choice filling and locking.
- Candidates must not joined or hold any seat at the time of Special round counselling.
- If a candidates’s name is mentioned in the list uploaded by MCC, DGHS, Govt. of India then he/she is not eligible for this counselling.
- Candidates who registered for Round 1, 2, and 3 areeligible.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria laid down for the programs applied to. This includes verifying all the details correctly with respect to category and region as to allotment of seats. Any false or misleading information entered at the time of admission would result in cancellation, with forfeiture of fees paid.
- Last-minute technical glitches should be avoided by applying early. The University shall not be held responsible for any network-related or any other similar issues that may cause a last-minute delay in the submission of applications or other activities.
- Only those persons who claim a seat from the Delhi region must have attended the 11th and 12th grades in a school/college of Delhi. Filling of region in the wrong way may cancel allotment at any point of time. The candidate automatically loses the right to the seat in bona-fide region if there are no available seats at the time of cancellations.
- Any other terms and conditions as defined by Statutory/Competent Authority would apply to the counseling process for MBBS admission for the year 2024-25. In case of any conflicts between the Admission Brochure and statutory directives, the statutory norms will prevail.
- Firstly, they should report to their respective nursing colleges/institutions for verification of documents. The documents include: Qualifying examination eligibility documents Reserved category certificates NEET UG 2024 scorecard Balance Part Academic Fee as per offer letter.
- Eligible candidates who paid Part Academic Fee of ₹96,000 are allowed to generate a Provisional Admission Slip after verification. Verifying documents should be done with Provisional Allotment Letter.
- Candidates must report to the allotted institution with the Provisional Allotment Letter and the required documents for record verification.
- Failure to pay the remaining balance (if any) as per the schedule will result in automatic cancellation.
