For LL.M., the All India Admission Test (ILICAT) will be conducted on May 10, 2026, followed by result declaration on May 29 and viva-voce in July. PG Diploma admissions will be merit-based, with classes also commencing from August 3, 2026.
The Indian Law Institute has commenced the admission process for the academic session 2026–27. Applications are open for PhD, LL.M. (1-year), Postgraduate Diploma, and online certificate courses. Interested candidates can apply online within the prescribed deadlines.
The application fee is ₹3,000 for PhD, ₹2,500 for LL.M., and ₹2,000 for each PG Diploma programme. Additionally, the admission fee for certificate courses is ₹10,000.
Notably, there is no entrance test for PhD and PG Diploma admissions, whereas LL.M. applicants are required to appear for the ILICAT entrance examination.
