IMU CET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to April 28; Apply Now

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) has extended the registration deadline for IMU CET 2026 to April 28, 2026, until 12:00 PM.

Candidates seeking admission to BTech, MSc, and PhD programmes can now apply online through the official website at imu.edu.in.

The extension provides additional time for eligible candidates to complete their application process and submit required documents before the final deadline.

IMU CET 2026 is a computer-based entrance examination conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Indian Maritime University.

The exam will be held on May 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in a remote-proctored mode. Candidates must log in at least 45 minutes before the exam for verification purposes.

IMU CET 2026 Important Dates

Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates must pay Rs 140. For BTech programmes, the registration fee is Rs 1,000 for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, while SC and ST candidates pay Rs 700.

The IMU CET 2026 is a 3-hour computer-based test designed to assess candidates' knowledge across core science subjects, language skills, general awareness, and aptitude. For BTech programmes, the exam consists of 200 questions conducted entirely in English.

The exam is conducted in remote-proctored mode, ensuring fair evaluation and maintaining academic integrity. Candidates must ensure they have a stable internet connection and a suitable testing environment before the exam begins.
