Indian Maritime University has opened IMU CET 2026 counselling registration from June 14 to June 17 2026. Candidates must pay Rs 10,000 and complete a five phase process on the official portal to lock their campus and course choice.
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) has opened the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) 2026 counselling registration on the official counselling portal at imu.cbexams.com. Candidates who qualified the IMU CET 2026 examination held on May 24, 2026 can complete their counselling registration from June 14 to June 17, 2026. The non-refundable counselling registration fee has been fixed at Rs 10,000 per candidate.
The counselling covers admissions for the academic year 2026-27 and the Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) February 2027 batch. It applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate maritime programmes offered at IMU campuses across India. Seat allotment will be conducted only after candidates complete all five phases of the registration process.

How to Complete IMU CET 2026 Counselling Registration?
The counselling registration is split into five sequential phases on the official portal. Candidates must finish each phase before moving to the next. The process closes at the end of June 17, 2026.
Phase 1 - Portal Login: Access the portal using the IMU CET application number and password.
Phase 2 - Personal and Medical Verification: Complete personal data checks and physical fitness declaration for sea-going courses.
Phase 3 - Academic Details: Submit qualifying examination marks. Candidates with result awaited status must update marks here.

IMU CET 2026 Counselling Fee and Payment Mode
The counselling registration fee is Rs 10,000 and is non-refundable. Candidates must pay through the secure online payment gateway integrated with the official portal. Accepted payment modes include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI. Final course allotment is confirmed only after successful payment and OTP verification in Phase 5.
