IIT Tirupati Announces Shortlist for PhD/MS Research Admissions 2026; Tests and Interviews from November 6 to 13

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati has released the list of shortlisted candidates for the PhD and MS (Research) admission cycle 2025-26. Students can now check the list and written test, and Interview dates on the institute’s website; iittp.ac.in.

As per the latest announcement by IIT Tirupati, the written tests and interviews will be held from November 6 to November 13, 2025, depending on the department and specialisation.

The mode of assessment varies; some will be conducted physically on campus, while others will follow a hybrid format.

IIT Tirupati PhD and MS Research Written Test/Interview Dates

The MS Research and PhD programs at IIT Tirupati aim to promote advanced research and innovation across engineering, sciences, and interdisciplinary areas. Candidates have been shortlisted based on their academic qualifications, research background, and eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Those selected are required to appear for the written test and/or interview as notified by their respective departments. The final selection will depend on the candidate’s academic record, performance in the written test (if applicable), and interview assessment.

Shortlisted applicants must bring all relevant documents, including degree certificates, mark sheets, and proof of identity, when appearing for the evaluation. The academic session for selected scholars is expected to commence in July 2026.
