The School of Management, IIT Mandi, has announced the shortlist for MBA in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DS & AI) Admissions 2025-27. The minimum CAT 2024 percentile required was 75 for General, 60 for OBC, and 50 for EWS.
IIT Mandi has announced the PI shortlist for MBA (DS & AI) admissions for the 2025 intake. Shortlisted candidates will receive their interview call letters via email by March 10, 2025, and the Personal Interviews are scheduled to be conducted online in March 2025.

IIT Mandi MBA Admission 2025: Shortlisting Criteria
Shortlisting of individuals will be based on both application categories:
Category 1: This is for the candidates who are CAT-exempted candidates.
- For General/OBC(CL)/EWS Candidates: Must have completed a full-time bachelor's degree (3 years minimum) or full-time master's degree (2 years minimum) with minimum 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale) or 65% marks from any Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI) or within the top 100 institutes according to NIRF ranking 2024.
- For SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD Candidates: Full-time bachelor's/master's degree with a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks from CFTI or one of the top 100 NIRF-ranked institutes. The addition of Mathematics at the +2 (or equivalent) level is compulsory for all applicants.
Category 2: There is a Valid CAT 2024 Score.
- General/OBC(CL)/EWS candidates: Must have a full-time bachelor’s degree (3 years) or master's degree (2 years) with a minimum 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks.
- SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD Candidates: Must have achieved at least 5.5 CGPA or 55% marks in full-time bachelor's or master's degrees.
- Mathematics at the +2 level (or equivalent) is compulsory.

The status of an applicant's shortlist can be verified by the applicant on the official admission portal: IIT Mandi MBA Admissions Portal. Candidates who fulfill the shortlisting criteria but were not shortlisted may appeal for consideration with all relevant documents to be emailed to mba_admissions@iitmandi.ac.in by March 10, 2025.
