IIT Kanpur MTech Admission 2026 Begins from March 25; Apply Online @iitk.ac.in

IIT Kanpur will activate the MTech 2026 application link from March 25. Candidates can apply online through the official portal, with the last date to submit applications set for April 10, 2026.

The IIT Kanpur has announced that the application process for the MTech application link (via TCS portal) will be active tentatively from March 25 to April 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their applications within the stipulated timeline to avoid last-minute issues.

Candidates are required to pay an online application fee of ₹500 for General, EWS, and OBC/OBC-NCL candidates, while SC/ST and PwD candidates need to pay ₹250.

Admission to MTech programmes will be based on GATE scores, followed by further shortlisting or selection processes as decided by respective departments. Final-year students who are expected to complete their degree by July 27, 2026, are also eligible to apply for provisional admission.
