IIT Bombay has announced the IIT JAM 2026 counselling schedule. Eligible candidates can apply through the JOAPS portal from March 27 to April 15, with the first admission list set to be released on May 25, 2026.

IIT JAM Counselling 2026 Dates Announced

The IIT Bombay has announced the IIT JAM 2026 counselling schedule on March 22, 2026. As per the official timeline, qualified candidates can begin their counselling registration from March 27, 2026, through the JOAPS portal.

The last date to complete the IIT JAM counselling registration is April 15, 2026. Candidates are required to log in to the JOAPS portal and pay a non-refundable fee of ₹750 to participate in the admission process. Based on the registrations, the first admission list will be released on May 25, 2026.

Admissions to more than 3,000 seats across 105 postgraduate programmes at 22 IITs will be coordinated by IIT Bombay for the 2026–27 academic session.
