IIT JAM 2026 Response Sheet Out; Check Direct Link & Next Process Here

Recently, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an organising institute of the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM), has released the IIT JAM 2026 Response Sheet after concluding the IIT JAM examination on February 15, 2026. Appeared candidates can check their scores through the direct link provided below or the official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in. Candidates can log in using their credentials to view the answers they marked during the exam and review their performance.

Through IIT JAM scores, candidates get admission into master's in M.Sc, M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), M.Sc. - M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. - PhD, M.Sc. - PhD. Dual Degree, Integrated‐ PhD (I-PhD) programs are offered at the top 22 Indian Institutes of Technology in India, including IIT Bhilai, Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Dharwad, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and others. JAM 2026 Score is also likely to be used by IISc Bengaluru, IISERs, IIPE, JNCASR, and CFTIs such as NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through CCMN.

IIT JAM Cutoff 2026

IIT JAM offers admission to 3000 seats in various postgraduate programmes at IITs. A total of 89 postgraduate programmes across 22 IITs for the academic year 2026-27.

JAM 2026 is conducted by IIT Bombay, IISc Bengaluru, and six IITs comprising IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee. JAM 2026 is open to candidates of all nationalities with no age limit. Applicants who have completed or are appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree in 2026 are eligible to apply.

After qualifying for the JAM 2026 examination, candidates can directly approach these admitting institutions, or admitting institutes (IITs & IISc), and directly use their score for PG seats via the central JOAPS portal, while result-sharing institutes (NITs, CFTIs, IISERs, etc) use the JAM score but conduct their separate counselling.

What Does the IIT JAM 2026 Response Sheet Include?

The IIT JAM 2026 Response Sheet is an official record of a candidate’s exam attempt that includes the candidate's details, exam paper information, Question IDs, question types, answers marked by the candidate, a status of attempted and unattempted questions, and a record of responses submitted during the exam. Candidates who have appeared in the IIT JAM 2026 exam can verify their responses and estimate their scores using the official answer key.

Next Step After the Response Sheet Release

After the release of the IIT JAM 2026 response sheet, the remaining admission process will proceed in stages:

1. Provisional Answer Key Release, where candidates can compare their responses with official answers.
2. If a candidates find any discrepancies in the Answer Key, they may challenge within the Objection Window.
3. After reviewing all objections, the Final Answer Key will be published.
4. The result declaration will be announced.
5. Qualified candidates can apply through the admission portal to participate in the admission process & Counselling.
