IIT Bombay has launched the JAM 2026 official website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The registration will be open from September 5 to October 12, 2025. JAM 2026 exam date is February 15, 2026.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched the official website for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026. The website link is jam2026.iitb.ac.in. Registration through JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) is scheduled to start on September 5 and continue till October 12, 2025.

According to the schedule, the IIT JAM 2026 exam will be conducted on February 15, 2026, for seven subjects. The admit card will be released on January 5, 2026, and the results will be out on March 20, 2026.

Who will conduct JAM 2026?

This year, the JAM exam will be conducted by IIT Bombay. It is an entrance exam conducted for admission to PG courses – M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), M.Sc. - M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. - Ph.D., M.Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree, and Integrated Ph.D (I-PhD). JAM score is accepted by IITs, along with NITs, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET, through CCMN.

Who is eligible for JAM 2026?

Any candidates, from India or abroad, are eligible for IIT JAM 2026. There is no age restriction or minimum qualifying marks. They must either have completed or be appearing for the final year qualifying exam in 2026.

How to Register for JAM 2026?

JAM 2026 registration will be through the JOAPS portal, which will be activated on September 5, 2025. Register with the required information – name, a valid e-mail address, an active mobile number, and a password. After successful registration, you will receive an Enrollment ID sent to the registered email ID and Mobile Number. Log in with the credentials and fill out the JAM application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the registration fee.
