IIT JAM 2024 Registration Deadline Extended Till October 25; Know How to Apply Here

New Delhi: The IIT JAM 2024 registration deadline has been extended. All qualified applicants can submit their application forms online at jam.iitm.ac.in until October 25, 2023. The registration deadline had previously been set for October 20, 2023.

There are around 3000 seats available in post-graduate programs at 21 IITs for the academic year 2024-25. The IIT JAM 2024 score will be used to admit candidates who meet the Eligibility Conditions (ERs), Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs), and any other applicable conditions without any further interview or written test.

JAM 2024 will take place on February 11, 2024 (Sunday). The exam will be administered as a computer-based test with seven test papers, including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. The JAM 2024 examination will be held in around 100 cities across India.

Candidates who want to take the IIT JAM must meet the following qualifying requirements:

• Nationality: Citizens of Indian states and international nationals are both eligible.
• Age Restrictions: There is no age restriction.
• Educational Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry is required. Candidates in their last year are also able to apply.
• Minimum Marks: There are no minimum marks required to apply for IIT JAM 2024.
• Proof of completion of the qualifying degree as well as the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) as required by the admitting Institute must be submitted.
