IIT JAM 2024 Modification Window to Open from November 20; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIT Madras will open the application form correction window for IIT JAM 2024 from November 20, 2023. Registered candidates who wish to make changes to their application form can make modifications through the official JAM 2024 website at jam.iitm.ac.in.

Informing about the process, IIT Madras official notice reads, "Modification of JAM 2024 Application window opening starts from November 20, 2023”. Applicants need to log in to their profile by using their email ID/ enrolment ID/ Mobile No/ Registration No and password to access the IIT JAM Correction Window 2024. 

The IIT JAM 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on February 11, 2024 and the admit card for the same will be published on January 8, 2024 on the official exam website for all applicants to download. After the exam, the IIT JAM 2024 Results will be declared on March 22, 2024.

How to Make Corrections in IIT JAM 2024 Application Form?

Candidates can make corrections in their IIT JAM 2024 Application Form by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024 at jam.iitm.ac.in.

Step 2: Login by entering your enrollment ID or registration number and click the "Submit" button to proceed.

Step 3: Click on the application form correction link and make necessary corrections as required.

Step 4: Review the changes carefully and submit the updated information through the JOAPS portal.

Step 5: Take a printout of your updated application for your records.

Candidates must note that the only gender, PWD status, Category and exam center can be changed through the IIT JAM 2024 Correction Window. IIT Madras will approve the applications after carefully verifying the data entered by the candidates. 

Defects in the application will be noted and sent to the candidate by SMS on the provided email and cellphone number. Candidates must correct their errors within the time frame specified by the exam authority.

The status of the JAM 2024 application will be updated upon receipt and re-scrutiny. “Failing to rectify the defects within the stipulated time can lead to the rejection of the application,” the examination authority said.
