New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad & the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) have joined hands to work together on “Research and Training”. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Lt Gen Daljit Singh, Director General of AFMS and Prof B S Murty, Director of IIT Hyderabad.
Their goal is to create new medical devices and address health challenges faced by soldiers in different environments. IIT Hyderabad's expertise in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Bioinformatics will be used to solve various medical problems faced by the Armed Forces.
