Stage 1: Shortlisting of Candidates
Stage 1 involves shortlisting candidates based on a composite score derived from three parameters. CAT performance carries the highest weightage of 80%, followed by 10% for gender diversity, which is awarded to non-male candidates, and 10% for relevant work experience.
Work experience is calculated based on the number of months completed after the bachelor’s degree and must be with an organisation registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Candidates with more than 48 months of experience receive no marks under this component. In case of a tie at this stage, preference is given first to candidates with a higher CAT percentile, and then to older candidates.
