IIT Gandhinagar has published the provisional selection list for the M.Sc in Cognitive and Brain Sciences and MA programs for the 2025-26 academic session. Applicants can check the selection list in this article.

IIT Gandhinagar has published the provisional list of selected candidates for the Written Test and Interview for admission to the M.Sc in Cognitive and Brain Sciences and MA programs for the 2025-26 academic session.
The Written Exam and Interviews will be conducted offline, with the MA program scheduled for February 22-23, 2025, and the M.Sc program on March 1-2, 2025.

IIT Gandhinagar Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
For M.Sc
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree (BA, BSc, BTech, BCom, MBBS, etc.) in any discipline and a minimum of 55% (5.5 CGPA) for General/OBC or 50% (5.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PD are eligible to apply for the Master’s program in Cognitive Science.
- Final-year undergraduate students can also apply.
- Shortlisting is based on academic performance, achievements, and aptitude for cognitive science, with the selection committee possibly applying higher cut-offs.
For MA
- To apply, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CPI/GPA).
- Final-year students and those awaiting results are also eligible.
- SC/ST/OBC eligibility will follow Supreme Court guidelines.
- Shortlisting will be based on academic performance, achievements, and aptitude for studying society and culture.

Applicants are not required to submit a hard copy of the application form. However, they must provide a printed copy of the form, along with a photograph and original documents (certificates, testimonials, publications, and proof of work/research experience) during the interview. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
