IIT Gandhinagar Opens M.Tech Program Early Admissions, Check Details Here!

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar has announced an early round of applications for its Master of Technology program for the academic year 2025. Candidates with a B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline are eligible for the program. The deadline to submit an application for the early admission stage is March 26, 2025.

IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Program Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech program, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria listed below.

• Final-year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs with a CPI/CGPA of at least 8.0 at the end of their third year for candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories, or at least 7.5 for candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories.
• Students who are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for General/EWS/OBC categories, or among the top 10 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories, but do not meet the CPI/CGPA criteria as specified here, are also eligible.

Admission is often granted via an interview, which may be reinforced with a written test if necessary. The ultimate decision will be based mostly on academic credentials, written tests, and/or interviews.
