IIT Dhanbad M.Tech Admission 2026 to Begin from March 20 @iitism.ac.in; Check Now

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has announced the schedule for its M.Tech. Admission for the 2026-2027 academic session. Eligible candidates can begin their application process online starting from March 20, 2026.

The IIT (ISM) Dhanbad offers a variety of specialized M.Tech. programs, and admission is primarily based on GATE scores followed by COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) counseling. For sponsored candidates, the selection may involve a written test or interview, the dates for which will be notified later.

Candidates must note that the GATE 2026 results are scheduled to be released on March 19, 2026, just one day before the application portal goes live. This timing allows candidates to use their updated scores for the submission process.

IIT Dhanbad M.Tech Admission 2026 Important Dates

Candidates who have graduated from an IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above may be eligible for direct admission without a GATE score, subject to departmental review. All GATE-qualified candidates must register on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Seat allotment will be handled exclusively through this portal. Admissions for sponsored candidates will involve a Written Test and/or an interview.
