New Delhi: IIT Bhubaneswar placement drive, which began on December 1, 2023, has already secured nearly 200 job offers for its students within the first ten days. Top recruiting companies in IITB Placements included BPCL, HPCL, Reliance Industries Limited, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, Google, Accenture Japan, Salesforce, Jaguar Land Rover, Zomato, Analog Devices, Tata Capital, Tata Steel, Mathworks, Tiger Analytics, GE Healthcare, Jindal Stainless Limited. The Computer Science Department students have received the maximum number of job offers, with the highest offer recorded at Rs. 64 lakhs per annum.

Amidst the current global economic slowdown, Prof. Arun Kumar Pradhan, the head of IIT Bhubaneswar Career Development Cell, shared positive insights, stating, "Despite economic challenges worldwide, IIT Bhubaneswar's placements are showing encouraging momentum. Our students are being offered diverse roles, even by core industries and PSUs."

The institute has managed to secure four international offers along with more than 200 domestic offers, indicating a robust interest from both national and global companies. Prof. Pradhan emphasized the institute's commitment to accommodating various sectors, aiming to offer students a broader range of career options.

Notably, the campus placement drive is set to continue until July 2024, ensuring ample opportunities for all students to explore job prospects across different sectors. Pradhan emphasized the institute's focus on enabling students to choose careers aligned with their interests and professional aspirations.
