The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Pune has invited applications for their Master’s programs. The MSc program is currently offered in the departments of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Earth and Climate Sciences.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune has opened applications starting from March 7, 2025, with the deadline set for April 30, 2025. Students who qualify for JAM 2025 are eligible to apply. The list of selected candidates is expected to be released in June 2025.

IISER Pune MSc Eligibility and Selection Process 2025
- Candidates must have a minimum of 60% overall marks (not just in the major subject) or an equivalent CGPA on a 10-point scale in BSc or an equivalent degree with Chemistry as a main subject.
- For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% overall marks or an equivalent CGPA.
- Qualified JAM 2025 (Chemistry). The rank must be valid at the time of admission. Candidates will be shortlisted based on JAM rank.
- Apply online only (incomplete applications will be rejected).
- Applications will be screened after the deadline, and the selection list will be released.
- Non-refundable application fee applies to all programs.
