IISER Integrated PhD Program Important Instructions
Candidates applying to the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune Integrated PhD programs in Biology, Maths, and Physics should follow the admission instructions listed below:
- The institute will only accept online applications. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Candidates must properly complete and submit the online application form on or before the given deadline.
- After the deadline, all applications will be evaluated, and those selected for interviews will be notified by email.
- Please be aware that all program applications are subject to a normal non-refundable application fee.
- All communication with candidates will be conducted via email only, using the corresponding email addresses.
- The short-listed candidates' interviews will be used to make the selection.
- The relaxation of eligibility conditions for SC, ST, and PwD applicants would be following Government of India guidelines. If selected, candidates from the reserved categories must submit the required certifications.
- For all national eligibility examinations with a common rank/score, the cut-off rank/score for shortlisting for interviews for reserved categories would be reduced to 1.25 times the General category rank/score.
Candidates who are taking or about to take final examinations for their qualifying degree course are eligible to apply for the Integrated PhD program. However, if chosen, their entrance would be contingent on completing the qualifying degree with the specified marks criterion at the time of admission.
