The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have released the IAT 2026 admit cards, and registered candidates can now download their hall tickets for the June 7 entrance examination.

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have released the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 admit cards. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official admission portal iiseradmission.in by logging into their registered accounts. The IAT 2026 examination is scheduled for June 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon IST. This exam is the gateway for admission to IISER’s prestigious 5-Year BS-MS dual degree programmes and selected 4-Year B.Tech programmes. The admit card is mandatory for exam entry, and candidates without it will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Candidates can download the IAT 2026 admit card by visiting the official IISER admission portal, logging in with their application number and password, and downloading the admit card PDF. It is advisable to keep both a printed copy, preferably in colour, and a digital copy for convenience.
On the exam day, candidates must carry the printed admit card along with a valid original photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, or Voter ID. They should reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time and avoid carrying any prohibited items, as entry without the admit card will not be permitted.
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 opens the door to admission in prestigious 5-year BS-MS dual degree programmes in core science disciplines, along with specialised programmes in Computational and Data Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Data Science & Engineering, Economic Sciences, and Economic & Statistical Sciences.
The participating IISER campuses include Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. The examination will be conducted as a 3-hour computer-based test, designed to assess candidates’ understanding of science subjects based on the Class 12 curriculum, along with their analytical and reasoning abilities.
