IIRS Admission 2026 Schedule Out @iirs.gov.in; Check Course-wise Dates Here

The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Government of India, has officially released the admission schedule for various Postgraduate (PG), PG Diploma, certificate, and short-term courses for the academic year 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official admissions portal at admissions.iirs.gov.in.

According to the IIRS notification, applications are open for multiple specialised programmes in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics, and Earth Observation. Most PG Diploma courses will commence from August 3, 2026, while the M.Sc. programme will begin from September 17, 2026. The last date to apply for major PG and PG Diploma courses is March 31, 2026.

IIRS Admission 2026: Course Schedule

Candidates must note that only online applications will be accepted for most courses. The application fee is ₹500 - ₹1,500, depending on the course. Students appearing in their final semester are also eligible to apply under the “Result Awaited” category.
