The first, second, and third place winners of the IIMC Incubation Centre Ideathon program will get prizes of INR 25000, INR 15000, and INR 10000.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication's Incubation Centre has released the schedule for its Ideathon 1.0 program, which strives to support media innovations, entrepreneurial initiatives, and professional growth, while also offering a nurturing atmosphere for students to turn their creative ideas into viable media ventures. Candidates who are interested might fill out the Google Form link below by January 24, 2025. To successfully complete the registration process, candidates must submit their unique company idea.

IIMC Incubation Centre Ideathon Objectives

The main objectives behind organizing Ideathon by IIMC are listed below:

To instill an entrepreneurial attitude among mass communication students.
To provide students with the skills needed to create and run media and communications startups.
To offer tools and mentorship to student-led media projects.
To help academics and professionals in the media business communicate better.
Contribute to the expansion of the media ecosystem by encouraging new ventures.

IIMC Incubation Centre Ideathon Eligibility

Candidates as per the below-listed criteria are eligible to participate for the IIMC Ideathon program:

All IIMC students work together with students from various higher education institutions.
Each squad must have at least five, but no more than ten members.
Each team may include up to two members from any higher education institution, including management schools, business schools, engineering schools, IITs, and other universities and colleges.
