IIMC Delhi PhD Application Deadline Extended to February 10; Apply Now, @iimc.gov.in

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, has officially extended the last date to apply for its PhD admission 2025–26. As per the notice dated January 30, 2026, candidates now have additional time to submit the online application form.

The extension aims to help more eligible applicants complete their registration process smoothly. Interested candidates must apply before the revised deadline and regularly check the institute’s website for updates.

According to the official notice, the last date for submission of the online PhD application form has been extended to February 10, 2026.

Earlier, the deadline was scheduled in January. With this extension, candidates who missed the previous timeline now get another opportunity to apply without waiting for the next admission cycle.

The IIMC institute has clarified that only the application deadline has been extended, while all other aspects of the PhD admission process remain unchanged, including the eligibility criteria, selection process, admission rules, instructions, and overall programme structure, as specified in the original notification dated January 1, 2026.

The PhD programme is open to candidates interested in journalism, mass communication, media studies, development communication, advertising, and public relations, and is ideal for those planning careers in academics, research, or policy-level media work.

Applicants must carefully check that they meet the required academic qualifications and research standards before applying.
