IIMC Counselling 2026 Schedule Out; Registration from May 26 to June 7

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced the official e-counselling schedule for 2026–27 admission. Candidates can register and fill their choices from May 26 to June 7, 2026 on the official portal.

The IIMC counselling process involves three rounds of seat allotment with document verification and acceptance fee payment. Candidates must complete registration, choice filling, and choice locking within specified dates to participate in each round.

How to Register for IIMC Counselling Once the Process Starts?

• Candidates must visit the official IIMC admissions portal at iimc.admissions.nic.in.
• Complete registration by paying the one-time registration fee during the specified window (May 26 to June 7, 2026).
• After registration, candidates fill their course and campus preferences.
• Choice locking must be completed by June 7 to participate in the first round of seat allotment.

First round seat allotment results will be announced on June 9, 2026. Candidates must upload documents and submit acceptance fee from June 9 to June 14 for verification.

Second round seat allotment is scheduled for June 16, 2026. Candidates can modify their willingness status and submit documents between June 16 to June 20.

Third round seat allotment occurs on June 23, 2026. Final document verification and acceptance fee submission window extends from June 23 to June 26.

What’s Next for Candidates

Candidates must complete document upload and acceptance fee payment within stipulated dates. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of allocated seat.

After completing all three rounds, candidates who accept seats must report for document verification. The academic session is expected to commence in early August 2026.

Candidates must register on iimc.admissions.nic.in by June 7, 2026 to participate in the counselling process. Document verification and acceptance fee payment are mandatory at each round to secure the allocated seat.
