IIM Udaipur Awarded 429 MBA Degrees at 12th Annual Convocation

New Delhi: IIM Udaipur hosted its 12th Annual Convocation for MBA and PhD students on April 01, 2024. A total of 429 degrees were conferred, including 3 doctoral degrees and 310 Two-Year MBA (Batch 2022-24) degrees.

Additionally, 116 degrees were awarded to students of One-Year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management and One-Year MBA in Digital Enterprise Management (Batches 2023-24). Dignitaries such as IIM Udaipur Board of Governors Chairman Pankaj Patel, Nestle Chairman Suresh Narayanan, and IIM Udaipur Director Prof. Ashok Banerjee presided over the function.

Suresh Narayanan, Chief Guest of the convocation, shared his experiences with the students. In his speech, Narayanan encouraged students to go after their passions while also holding their communities close to their work.

Narayanan also gave the students the tools of the 7 C’s to access their choices in life: “Clarity, Culture, Contentment, Curiosity, Community, Communication, and Context.”

Professor Ashok Banerjee also spoke during the conclusion of the ceremony, saying, ''This convocation is not just an ending, but a new beginning. This institution has provided you with a transformational learning experience…I urge you to never stop learning, to never stop growing, and to never stop pushing yourself to be the best you can be.”

He reminded the students, “You are now part of a vast network of IIM Udaipur alumni, you are all stakeholders in the institute's success. We look forward to your continued contributions and mentorship as you embark on your exciting careers.”
