IIM Sirmaur organised a five-day Management Development Program on “Leading to Innovate: Building a start-up ecosystem for technical institutions” to bring together stakeholders with the aim of creating an innovation ecosystem in Himachal Pradesh.

News Title: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur has successfully organised a five-day long Management Development Program on “Leading to Innovate: Building a start-up ecosystem for technical institutions”.
As per IIM Sirmaur, the main objective of this 5-day Management Development Program is to bring together and interact with the stakeholders with the aim of creating an innovation ecosystem in Himachal Pradesh.

The IIM Sirmaur MDP was inaugurated by industry leader Dr Ashok Goyal, Managing Director at Tirupati Industries. The event was enthusiastically launched by the program Directors, Profs. Mohita G. Sharma and Shashi Kant Srivastava.
Speaking on this occasion, the directors sparked interesting discussions about the value of innovation in a state like Himachal Pradesh. Disruptive technologies, blockchain, artificial intelligence, frugal innovation, digital transformation, innovative leadership, etc. were discussed.

The program was attended by members from the Directorate of Technical Education, Himachal Pradesh as well as representatives from engineering, polytechnic, and technical backgrounds. Attendees commended IIM Sirmaur for organising these MDPs. The institute plans to hold more programs like this in the future.
