IIM Shillong Begins IPM Admission 2026

IIM Shillong has opened admissions for its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) 2026-31 batch, offering you a pathway to earn an integrated BBA and MBA degree. You can submit applications online through apps.iimshillong.ac.in/admission/ from May 1 to May 30, 2026. The application fee is INR 2,000 for general category candidates and INR 1,000 for SC/ST/DA/EWS categories, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The IPM program is a five-year integrated degree combining BBA and MBA qualifications, designed to develop ethical and reflective leaders. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning through Core courses (80% theory, 20% practicums), Cognate courses (50% theory, 50% practicums), and Modular courses (20% theory, 80% practicums). This structure ensures you gain both theoretical knowledge and real-world application experience.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have been born on or after August 1, 2006 (August 1, 2001 for SC/ST/DA categories). You need a minimum 70% marks in Class X and Class XII (65% for SC/ST/DA candidates). Mathematics or Applied Mathematics must have been studied in both Class XI and Class XII. All candidates must have appeared for IPM AT 2026 or SAT (score 1,300 out of 1,600 taken after June 1, 2025).

The Personal Interview carries the highest weightage at 50%, making it the most critical component. The selection involves six stages: application submission, eligibility verification, PI shortlisting, online interview, PI evaluation, and final merit list preparation.

If you belong to reserved categories (SC, ST, DA), upload your valid caste certificate. EWS candidates must provide valid EWS documentation. Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 2,000 (INR 1,000 for eligible categories) online.
