Emphasising the role of startups as wealth and job creators, Pradhan highlighted their contribution to economic opportunities for society's bottom segment.
Identifying healthcare, textiles, agriculture, mines, and minerals as priority startup sectors, Pradhan expressed that educational institutions like IIM Sambalpur serve as natural hubs for mentorship, leveraging the faculty's talent pool.
He highlighted the country's abundant resources and emphasised the need to connect these resources with new ideas, a challenge that incubation centres like I-Hub aim to address.
Director of IIM Sambalpur, Mahadeo Jaiswal, said, "Our unique proposition focuses on promoting local art, culture, and intellectual industry in regions rich in mineral and mining resources.
