IIM Raipur PhD Admission 2025 Open; Apply Before May 10

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has announced the opening of applications for its PhD program for the academic year 2025. After submitting the online application and fee, candidates must send the downloaded application form, payment receipt, and self-attested documents via speed post to the Admissions Office, IIM Raipur, Atal Nagar, Raipur – 493 661, Chhattisgarh, before or by May 10, 2025.

A separate fee is required for each area applied.

As per the entrance test score, all shortlisted candidates must appear for a personal interview at the IIM Raipur campus. If a candidate subsequently wishes to withdraw the offer within the withdrawal date specified in the Offer Letter, the Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after deducting INR 1000/- as processing charges.

IIM Raipur PhD Admission Criteria 2025

The CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/ JRF-UGC/CSIR/ UGC-NET percentile will be used for shortlisting candidates for PI. The category-wise minimum percentile is given in the table below:

The admission office in consultation with the admission committee and as per the mandated cut-offs (category-wise) will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI across specializations.

A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Raipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send a commitment fee of INR 36,000.

IIM Raipur PhD Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates for the program must have one of the following qualifications to be eligible for admission:

• A Master’s degree or PGP from IIMs (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
• Professional qualifications like CA/ICWA (with a degree) or CS (with B.Com) with at least 60% marks.
• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10.
• A 5-year Integrated Master’s degree (after 10+2) in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
• Candidates appearing in the final year examination in the current academic year may also apply.

Note: A relaxation of five percentage (5%) points will be given to SC, ST, and PWD candidates. Candidate must not be more than 50 years old as of June 1st, 2025.

IIM Raipur PhD Documents Required 2025

The candidates have to submit the following documents:

• Self-attested copies of mark sheets/transcripts for all degrees (with certified translations for non-English/Hindi transcripts).
• Self-attested copies of school and university certificates.
• Percentage conversion certificate (if CGPA/CPA is used).
• Two references with contact details and email IDs (academic or work supervisors).
• Copies of published research or conference papers.
• Research proposal.
• Self-attested work experience certificates (if applicable).
• Caste certificate (if applicable).
