IIM Mumbai Launches 4-Year UG Programme in Digital Science & Business Management; Classes to Be Held at Upcoming Pune Campus

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has announced the launch of its first-ever undergraduate programme, marking a significant milestone in the institute’s academic expansion. The new programme, titled Bachelor of Digital Science and Business Management, will be a four-year full-time course and will be offered from IIM Mumbai’s upcoming Pune campus.

According to official announcements, the undergraduate programme has been designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who possess strong foundations in digital technologies, data-driven decision-making, and modern business management.

The course aims to blend core management principles with emerging areas such as digital systems, analytics, and technology-enabled business models.

4-Year Programme Provides Multiple Entry and Exit Options

The four-year UG programme has been designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), offering students the flexibility of multiple entry and exit options. In addition, IIM Mumbai is in discussions with IMT France to explore international academic collaboration, which is expected to provide global exposure and enhance learning opportunities for students.

Programme to Be Offered at Pune Campus

To support the undergraduate programme, IIM Mumbai will set up an extension campus in Pune after receiving approval from the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and the Minister of State for Cooperation, Murlidhar Mohol.

The Pune campus will function as an extension of IIM Mumbai and will be used for conducting academic activities related to the undergraduate course.
