IIM Lucknow Begins PGPWE Admission 2025; Entrance Exam Scheduled for December 20

IIM Lucknow has announced the schedule for the PGPWE Entrance Exam 2025, which will be held on December 20, 2025, at the Noida Campus. The institute will release the shortlisted candidates list on December 27, followed by the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview on January 3 and 4, 2026. Applicants must ensure they meet the required eligibility conditions and complete their submissions by November 20, 2025 to be considered for the selection process.

PGPWE 2026–28 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for IIM Lucknow’s PGPWE 2026–28 batch, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 academic structure. If the university uses CGPA instead of marks, the conversion must follow the institution’s official formula; otherwise, IIM Lucknow will determine the equivalent percentage.

Applicants also need a valid score in GMAT/GMAT Focus Edition/GRE (test-centre mode only), CAT 2023 or 2024, GATE 2024 or 2025, or the PGPWE Entrance Exam. In addition, they must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completing graduation as on March 31, 2026.

The institute clearly states that freelance work, training assignments, or project work completed as part of academic requirements will not be considered as professional experience.

Candidates must fill out the online form, upload required documents, and submit it by November 20, 2025 along with a non-refundable fee of INR 1000. Based on test scores (GMAT/GMAT Focus/GRE/CAT/GATE/PGPWE Exam), IIM Lucknow will shortlist applicants for further evaluation rounds.

The final score is calculated using the following weightage:

• Test Score – 30%
• Academic & Professional Profile – 30%
• Writing Ability Test – 10%
• Personal Interview – 30%
