New Delhi: India Accelerator, a startup accelerator program, has announced a collaboration with the IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre to launch an Angel Investing Certification program aimed at early-stage venture capital.

This partnership between IIM Lucknow and India Accelerator aims to equip aspiring angel investors with the expertise and abilities required for investing in the startup asset class, blending both the art and science of investment.

IIM Lucknow and India Accelerator to Organise Residential Program for CAs; Register till March 24

IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre (Noida campus) is hosting a two-day residential program on April 6 and 7, 2024, with registration closing on March 24, 2024. Tailored for High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs), Chartered Accountants (CAs), family offices, and startup mentors, this short program aims to offer insights into the startup investment landscape and opportunities for wealth creation.

Designed by startup experts from India Accelerator in collaboration with faculty members of IIM Lucknow, the program dives into various aspects such as startup evaluation, investment thesis, valuation models, network and syndicates, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), portfolio management, taxation, legal frameworks, and exit strategies.

According to the statement, Angel Investing in startups through Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) is expected to continue being one of the rapidly expanding managed product segments. With an increasing number of high-net-worth individuals seeking distinctive products offering the potential for generating enhanced positive alpha on their investments.
