IIM Jammu Summer Placement 2024-26 Records 1.36% Rise in Average Stipend; BFSI Dominates with 41% Offers

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has completed the Summer Placement process for its MBA batch of 2024–26, marking an important milestone as the institute celebrates its 10th year of excellence. More than 70 recruiters participated in the placement drive, including over 50 first-time recruiters. Together, they offered more than 320 internship offers across various domains. The average stipend for the season stood at ₹71,994, while the median stipend was ₹50,000. The highest stipend reached an impressive ₹2,00,000, and the top 10% of students secured an average stipend of ₹1,82,352.

The current MBA batch has a strength of 298 students, with an average age of 23 years and an average work experience of 29 months. About 72% are freshers, while the rest come with professional experience.

The sector-wise summer placement trends at IIM Jammu highlight strong demand across major business domains. BFSI led the placements with 41% of the offers, recording the highest average stipend of ₹1,49,226. The Analytics sector followed with 14%, offering an average stipend of ₹61,800, while Consulting & Strategy contributed 6% of the roles with an average stipend of ₹46,053.
