IIM Jammu inaugurated the General Management Program Batch IV, the program is designed to enrich the managerial skills of working professionals.
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu) inaugurated the General Management Program Batch IV, designed to enrich the managerial skills of working professionals.
The General Management Program or GMP by IIM Jammu offers an exploration of several facets of management education, including operations, marketing, finance, human resources, and strategic planning.
The inauguration was done in the presence of Prof. B. S. Sahay, the Director of IIM Jammu, Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean of Academics, Dr Ateeque Shaikh, Executive Education and Corporate Consulting (EE&C) Chairperson, and other staff.
Dr Eshika Aggarwal, Program Director said, “We pave the way for participants in the GMP by emphasizing hands-on experiences like case studies and class participation, guiding them to chart a new course in their management journey”.

Executive Education and Corporate Consulting Chairperson, Dr. Ateeque Shaikh mentioned the purpose of the program which is to tailor the leadership developments for corporate and government entities.
Dean Academics, Prof. Jabir Ali, addressed the program and acknowledged the importance of executive education. Director of IIM Jammu, Prof. B. S. Sahay highlighted the contribution of IIM Jammu towards management.
He said, “Residing on campus provides an authentic experience of the program, far superior to remote class settings like hotel rooms that offer a profound immersion in the educational atmosphere”. The program director, Dr. Prakrit Silal, extended a vote of thanks to everyone involved in bringing the program to life.
The inaugural program ended with the National Anthem, followed by a photo session, and anticipation of a transformative learning journey for all participants in GMP Batch IV.
