International HR Pre-Conference at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, held over a span of two days, achieved substantial advancements in enhancing the expertise and skills of HR professionals, researchers, and practitioners.

IIM Jammu Concludes International HR Pre-Conference

New Delhi: IIM Jammu has successfully hosted the Pre-Conference from October 12 to October 13, 2023. The conference provided participants with valuable insights into HR analytics, research methodology, and a variety of tools to help them develop their skills.

The International HR Pre-Conference at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu emitted significant breakthroughs in the knowledge and capacities of HR professionals, researchers, and practitioners across its two-day session. 

The pre-conference workshop was held to provide attendees with the most up-to-date tools and practices in the field of human resources. SPSS, R, SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), PLS-SEM, and the psychometric test construction process were among the topics discussed during the Pre-Conference.

Dr Guanpuanang Kahmei, Conference Chair, and Dr Anuja Akhouri, Co-Chairperson of the International HR Conference at IIM Jammu, both attended the event. Dr. Nadeem Younus Zargar, Administrative Officer of the Institute for Engineering Education & Certification, IIM Jammu, skillfully coordinated the event's administrative support and coordination.

The International Human Resources Pre-Conference at IIM Jammu was a huge success, bringing together a broad collection of HR professionals, researchers, and specialists to share information and best practices in the ever-changing field of human resources. The participants got great insights and practical skills that will surely help them advance in their careers.

All of the specialists in their domains guided participants through the complexities of HR analytics and gave comprehensive training in various advanced tools and approaches during the event. 

The key highlights of the event included an engaging session hosted by Dr. Amitabh Deo Kodwani, a prominent Professor at IIM Indore, on "Case Study Writing and Workshop" was a highlight of the second day of the Pre-Conference. 

This seminar gave listeners practical insights into the creation, writing, and analysis of case studies, which is an important ability for both academics and the commercial sector.

Dr. Neeraj Kaushik, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at NIT Kurukshetra, gave two informative talks. The first session focused on "Structural Equation Modeling with R," providing participants with a thorough overview of this commonly used statistical tool for research and analysis. 

On this occasion, Dr. Kaushik delved deeper into the topic in the second session, presenting attendees with an advanced view of "Structural Equation Modeling with R," arming them with expanded skills and insights in this discipline.

Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean of Academics, IIM Jammu, presented certificates to a number of outstanding students. "Learning is a continuous process, and your education does not end with the receipt of a certificate," he said.

In fact, it is only the beginning of a lifelong adventure," Prof. Jabir Ali noted. "As you progress in your careers and lives, keep in mind that the more you learn, the more you have to share with the rest of the world." When knowledge is shared and used to benefit society, it becomes truly valuable."

The International HR Pre-Conference gave attendees significant insights and skills, laying the groundwork for a lively and instructive "HR in Dynamic Business Environment" for the next International Conference and Conclave on October 14 and 15, 2023.

The instructive seminars brought together a broad collection of researchers, providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to flourish in their respective professions. It emphasised the necessity of the HR community sharing experiences, research, and insights, ultimately developing a collaborative and knowledge-driven approach to HR practices.
