IIM Jammu PhD (Full Time) Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The full-time Ph.D. program at IIM Jammu has an admission process that includes shortlisting candidates for a Personal Interview (PI), conducting the PI, and then preparing a merit list based on the interview and the candidates’ academic and work achievements.

The candidates must have a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification with minimum required marks, and they should not be older than 40 years as of June 1, 2026.

The program accepts test scores from exams like CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, or JRF for shortlisting candidates. Selected candidates receive a fellowship with a stipend starting at Rs. 55,000 per month along with other allowances.

IIM Jammu PhD (Working Professionals) Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The Ph.D. program for Working Professionals at IIM Jammu has an admission process that includes a written test called IIMJ-RAT for candidates who do not have valid scores in CAT, GRE, GATE, GMAT, or JRF exams.

After the written test, shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Personal Interview. The program requires similar academic qualifications as the full-time PhD, but it places special emphasis on relevant full-time work experience after graduation.

Candidates can use valid test scores from standard exams or appear for the IIMJ-RAT, making it suitable for working professionals who may not have all the standard scores. Classes can be attended either online or offline, with final exams held on campus, offering flexibility to working candidates.
