IIM Calcutta Hosts Annual Business Conclave "Lattice 2023" with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited

New Delhi: IIM Calcutta has successfully organised the 15th edition of its Annual Business Conclave, titled "Lattice 2023" on August 19, 2023. The conclave was held on the campus grounds in association with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

As per IIM Calcutta, the annual business conclave is a one-day event which brings together industry experts, academicians, faculty members and students for industry-academia collaborations. For this year, the theme of the conclave was "Innovation Unleashed".

The IIM Calcutta Annual Business Conclave 2023 began with a video message from the CEO of 2023 Lattice, HAL Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Ananthakrishnan. In his speech, he shared the contributions of HAl and innovations in the Aerospace Industry. 

After this, CEO and Executive Director of MapmyIndia, Mr Rohan Verma shared his experience and entrepreneurship journey with the audience. He discussed the use of digital maps before Google and how his business provides services to top companies like Coca-Cola, Ola, Flipkart and others.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt Lifestyle shared his entrepreneurship journey and how he built the 2nd largest wearable company in the globe. He also shared some life lessons he learned along his journey with the participants. 

The event was also attended by Mr Madhivanan Balakrishnan, Chief Operating Officer, IDFC First Bank (IIM Calcutta Alumni); Mr. Praveen Kumar, CEO-India, Barclays; Mr. Sanjay Ojha, Co-Founder & CEO, Sirius AI; Mr. Naveen Agarwal, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP; and Mr. Pulak Pattanayak, Co-founder Director, VCNow.
