IIM Ahmedabad Releases PGP Cluster 2 Placement Concludes with 60+ Offers; M&M, TAS Top Recruiters

60+ offers were made in the second Cluster, led by Conglomerates such as Mahindra and Mahindra, followed by TATA Administrative Services and Aditya Birla Group.

IIM Ahmedabad PGP Summer Placement 2025-26 Cluster 2

IIM Ahmedabad successfully concluded its Cluster 2 Summer Placement for the PGP Class of 2027 on October 31, 2025, marking the completion of the second phase in its three-cluster placement model. The placements were held in a hybrid format with participation from across seven major cohorts: Advertising and Media, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Consumer Services, Financial Platform and Services, Pharmaceuticals & Health Care, and Retail (B2B & E-commerce).

Mahindra & Mahindra emerged as the top recruiter, extending the highest number of offers across all Cluster 2 cohorts. In the highly competitive Consumer Goods sector, Procter & Gamble led the hiring, followed closely by ITC Limited. Prominent recruiters across sectors included CK Birla Group and JSW in Conglomerates, and FinIQ Consulting, which topped the Financial Platform segment. Other major firms, including Amazon and Flipkart, led the charge in the Retail B2B & E-commerce space.

The process also featured notable international interest, including opportunities offered by Fast Retailing Co. Ltd., reinforcing IIMA’s global appeal.

A key highlight of Cluster 2 was the significant rise in participation from first-time recruiters, demonstrating expanding interest in IIM Ahmedabad talent. New entrants included:

Dainik Bhaskar and Jiostar (Advertising & Media)
Jupiter Money (Financial Platform & Services)
Medtronic India (Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare)
Haleon and Philip Morris International (Consumer Goods)

In total, over 60 diverse roles were offered, continuing the trend of strong placement performance established in Cluster 1. As per reports by IIMA, Custer 1 Placements were dominated by top Management Consulting and Investment Banking firms like McKinsey & Company, BCG, and Goldman Sachs. With Cluster 2 successfully wrapped up, the institute's focus has immediately shifted to the final phase. The Cluster 3 of IIM Ahmedabad Placements will now begin on November 3, 2025.

This final cluster is crucial as it typically covers cohorts and sectors not addressed in the first two phases. These often include key domains like BFSI (excluding consulting), Technology, and various Emerging Sectors, with a rolling process set to follow if needed.
