29 firms hired across six cohorts as consumer goods, conglomerates and healthcare sectors led recruitment.

IIM Ahmedabad Concludes Cluster 2 Placements 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad completed Cluster 2 of the final placements for the PGP Class of 2026 on February 7, 2026, with 29 recruiters participating across multiple sectors. The round covered advertising, consumer goods, services, healthcare, retail and conglomerates, offering diverse job roles to management graduates.

Several leading Indian and global companies made offers, while some firms joined placements for the first time. The third cluster is scheduled for February 9, 2026, continuing the institute’s phased hiring process.

Cluster 2 of the final placement process covered six major cohorts- advertising and media, conglomerates, consumer goods, consumer services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and retail (B2B and B2C), enabling recruiters to hire students for specialised roles across domains.

A total of 29 firms participated, showing strong demand for graduates. In the consumer goods cohort, leading brands such as Hindustan Unilever and Procter & Gamble were key recruiters, while Berger Paints joined placements for the first time, offering roles in marketing, sales, supply chain and general management.

The conglomerates cohort included Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, and Tata Administrative Services, with Essar Group making the highest number of offers, while Bharti Airtel led hiring in consumer services.

In healthcare, Bharat Serums and Vaccines and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries participated, and Leeford Healthcare debuted this year.

At IIMA, the Retail hiring expanded with Dot & Key and Nykaa joining established recruiters Amazon and Flipkart. The cluster also saw international participation from DAMAC Properties and Fast Retailing, reflecting the institute’s global reach.

Earlier, the first cluster held on February 3, 2026, was dominated by consulting, with Boston Consulting Group emerging as the top recruiter with 33 offers, alongside Bain & Company, Kearney, and McKinsey & Company.

The third and final cluster will be conducted on February 9, 2026, while earlier PGP summer placements placed 410 students, with 165+ firms offering over 230 internship roles.
