IIITDM Jabalpur has opened online applications for its Master of Design (M.Des.) programme for the 2026-27 academic year. The application deadline is April 26, 2026, with admission based on valid GATE or CEED scores from 2025 or 2026.

The Pt. Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur has invited applications for its Master of Design (M.Des.) Full-Time programme for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official admission portal until April 26, 2026. The institute will announce the first list of selected candidates on May 8, 2026.
Admission to the M.Des. programme is based purely on valid GATE or CEED scores obtained in 2025 or 2026. The institute has allocated 30 seats in total 20 seats reserved for CEED-qualified candidates and 10 seats for GATE-qualified candidates. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks or a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 (on a scale of 10.00) in their qualifying Bachelor's degree programme, which must be of four years' duration in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Design (B.Des.).

- April 6, 2026: Online application window opens
- April 26, 2026: Last date to submit applications with documents and application fee
- May 8, 2026: Announcement of 1st list of selected candidates
- May 20, 2026: Last date for 1st list candidates to confirm seats
- May 22, 2026: Announcement of 2nd list (if seats remain vacant)
- June 5, 2026: Announcement of 3rd list (if seats remain vacant)
- First week of August 2026: Registration, orientation, and commencement of classes
The application fee is Rs. 300 for SC/ST candidates and Rs. 500 for all other candidates. Applicants must submit their applications exclusively through the online portal; offline submissions are not permitted. After successful submission, candidates should save a copy of the application form, as a hardcopy along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents will be required during the interview or registration process.
Candidates must ensure they possess a valid GATE or CEED score from either 2025 or 2026 before applying. The institute follows the Government of India rules for reserved category admissions and provides Institute Assistantship to full-time Master's students as per government guidelines. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected, so applicants must carefully fill all required fields and upload all necessary documents before the deadline.
