IIIT Nagpur has opened applications for PhD Phase-II Admission 2024-25 under the Visvesvaraya Scheme. The Written Entrance Test and Interviews are scheduled for February 25, 2025. Read the article for more details.

IIIT Nagpur is inviting applications for PhD Phase-II admission for the 2024-25 session under the Visvesvaraya Scheme. Interested candidates can submit their applications online until February 19, 2025.

IIIT Nagpur PhD Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Qualification:
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, along with a Bachelor’s degree in ECE, IT, CSE, or related disciplines.
- General/OBC-NCL/EWS: Minimum 60% marks or a CPI/CGPA of 6.75 on a 10-point scale.
- SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% marks or a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
Preferred Qualification:
- A valid GATE score is desirable.

IIIT Nagpur PhD Admission 2025: Documents Required

Candidates must submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with their hardcopy application form. Additionally, scanned copies must be uploaded for online applications.

Printed hard copy of the online application form, signed on all pages.
10th Standard Certificate.
12th Standard Certificate/Diploma Certificate.
Graduation mark sheets for all years.
Graduation degree certificate.
Master’s degree certificate and mark sheets for all semesters.
Experience/Service certificates from previous employers (if applicable within the last five years).
EWS/OBC-NCL certificate (if applicable), issued in the current financial year as per the Central Government format.
Caste Validity Certificate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates from Maharashtra State.
SC/ST/PwD certificate (if applicable), in the Central Government-prescribed format.
Scanned copy of NEFT payment receipt/DD for online applications and the original DD/NEFT receipt for hardcopy applications.

Candidates must also present original documents and valid ID proof during the document verification process on the interview day. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the selection process.
