IIIT Bangalore B.Tech/M.Tech Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech / Integrated M.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as a subject and secured a first-class grade. Students appearing for their final exams by July 2026 are also eligible.
• M.Tech: Applicants generally require a first-class B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent degree in a relevant branch.

IIIT Bangalore B.Tech/M.Tech Admission 2026 Selection Process

• B.Tech & iMTech: Admission is based strictly on the JEE Main 2026 All India Rank (CRL). The institute does not have a separate entrance exam for these courses. Additionally, a few seats are reserved for participants of the International Olympiad (IMOTC and IOITC).
• M.Tech: Selection is primarily based on a valid GATE Score in the respective papers (CS/IT for CSE; EC for ECE).
