From 2025, IIFT scrapped the entrance examination and began admitting students on the basis of CAT/GMAT scores.

The official online application portal for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade was opened for 2025 admission cycle. Current as well as prospective students may now apply for the MBA in International Business. The first cycle will remain open up to November 22, 2024.

Application Process for Foreign Nationals and NRIs:

Candidates applying under the Foreign National and NRI categories can start submitting their applications from January 15, 2025, with the deadline for submission being March 15, 2025.

Admission Process and Selection:

IIFT’s selection process includes multiple stages. After the CAT 2024 exam on November 24, 2024, the institute will release a list of shortlisted candidates for the second round by the end of January 2025 on its official website. The second round will involve Group Discussions and Interviews, scheduled for February to March 2025.

The program is expected to commence in June 2025, offering candidates a world-class education with a focus on international business.
