The International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS) Bengaluru MBA 2026-28 will cost ₹ 9,50,000/ year, significantly higher than previous years.

IIBS Bangalore Releases MBA Fee Structure for Batch 2026 28

IIBS Bengaluru has unveiled its fee structure for the MBA cohort 2026–28: a total academic fee of ₹ 19.35 lakh for the two-year program.

The institution, affiliated with Bengaluru City University, holds NAAC A grade and is NBA-accredited, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the Government of India.

The latest fee marks a substantial increase compared to the 2025 batch, raising important questions for prospective candidates about return on investment and financing.

IIBS Bangalore MBA Batch 2026–28 Fee Structure

IIBS Bengaluru has notified the detailed fee structure for its MBA 2026–28 batch, with the total academic cost set at ₹ 19.35 lakh, marking one of the steepest revisions in recent cycles. The fee includes ₹ 9,50,000 tuition per year and ₹ 45,000 towards other fees, taking the annual total to ₹ 9,95,000.

Over two years, this amounts to roughly ₹ 19.90 lakh, aligning with the institution’s official communication. Students will also receive a free laptop, while the top 100 performers, maintaining 80%+ attendance and strong academic scores, will be offered an international study trip.

The mandatory additional charges include ₹ 12,000 per year for placement training (payable in 2nd & 3rd instalments), ₹ 10,000 alumni membership, ₹ 5,000 library fee, and ₹ 6,000 uniform fee, besides applicable government taxes.

Accommodation and transport add significantly to the overall cost: twin-sharing hostel averages ₹ 1.8 lakh/year, while single occupancy can reach ₹ 2.4 lakh/year. Transport ranges ₹ 25,000–₹ 40,000 annually, depending on distance.

A comparison with the previous academic cycle shows a substantial jump. In 2025, the MBA tuition was ₹ 9,00,000 for the entire program, with ₹ 45,000 in other charges, bringing total expenditure to roughly ₹ 9.45 lakh to ₹ 11.89 lakh (including hostel).

At ₹ 19.35 lakh for 2026, the latest structure reflects a ₹ 8–10 lakh rise, equating to a 70%–90% increase in program cost. This surge places IIBS among the higher-priced private B-schools in Bengaluru, prompting aspirants to evaluate placements, average salary packages, financial aid, and expected ROI carefully.

Candidates must prepare financially, explore loan options, and note that overall expenditure will exceed tuition when accommodation and transport are factored in. Eligibility requirements remain consistent: a minimum 50% graduation score, valid MBA entrance scores (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT), and a GD/PI round under Bengaluru City University guidelines.

With the sharp hike, applicants are advised to review placement data, refund rules, and scholarship policies, and compare with peer institutes before final confirmation.
