IGNOU To Hold 37th Convocation with Vice President as Chief Guest on February 20

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is preparing to organise its 37th Convocation on February 20, 2024. The convocation will be held at IGNOU’s Headquarters at Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, Delhi 110068. 

As per IGNOU, the convocation ceremony will be held in the presence of the Vice President of India, who will attend as Chief Guest. Students who completed their programs in December 2022 and June 2023 Term End Exams will receive their original certificate at this Convocation.

You can register for the IGNOU Convocation 2024 Ceremony by paying online registration through the IGNOU payment gateway by February 10, 2024. The direct link for the same is available on the official website at ignou.ac.in.

Informing about the convocation, IGNOU notification reads, “The Regional Centres will invite the eligible students who have paid the requisite fee by February 10, 2024, and given their consent to attend the convocation. The Regional Centre may decide about the programmes for which students are to be invited to the Convocation”.

Students can collect their Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates in person from the respective Regional Centres or receive them by post to their registered address. The degrees will be sent to eligible candidates who have paid INR 600 fees at Regional Centres where Convocation is not to be held and to those who could not attend the convocation ceremony.
