IGNOU Revises Eligibility Criteria for MBA Banking and Finance Course; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IGNOU has revised the eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission to the MBA Banking and Finance course. The recent changes involve the removal of the CAIIB Certification requirement and the two-year work experience prerequisite in the banking or financial sector.

The MBA Banking and Finance (MBF) program is a two-year degree course offered by the School of Management Studies at IGNOU. Interested candidates can go through the revised admission criteria and apply online for the program till July 31, 2023. 

The MBF program is designed as an open and distance learning program and was introduced through an MoU between IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

IGNOU MBA Banking and Finance Eligibility Criteria 2023

The revised admission criteria for the MBA Banking and Finance program at IGNOU is given below.

• Candidates must have passed a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) 
• Interested candidates can apply for MBA admission through the Samarth portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in based on merit.
• The earlier requirements of the CAIIB Certification and the two-year work experience have been scrapped.

The eligibility foradmission to MBA Banking and Finance has been revised. Now no need for Banking experience and no need for CAIIB.
New Eligibility-
Passed Bachelor Degreeof Minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks-45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.

How to Register for IGNOU MBA Banking and Finance Admission 2023? 

IGNOU Admission and re-registration deadline has been extended until July 31, 2023, for both new registrations and re-enrollments. Candidates can register for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs on the official portal @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, and for online programs @ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Follow these steps outlined to register for IGNOU Admission 2023. 

Step 1: Go to the official IGNOU application portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in

Step 2: Register by providing your mobile number, email address, and other necessary details.

Step 3: Log in using your registration credentials and complete the Application form by filling in all the required information.

Step 4: Make the payment for the application fee and submit the completed Application form.

Step 5: Finally, Print out the form for future reference and any future requirements.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has recently introduced a new postgraduate diploma in services management program, starting from the July 2023 academic session.
