IGNOU has launched 4 new ODL programs for 2025. Admissions are open for new programs: BCA (Online), BCA (ODL), MCA (ODL), and PG Diploma in Computer Applications (ODL).

IGNOU Online/ODL Programs Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

BCA (Online/ODL): 10 + 2 or Diploma in Commercial Practice
MCA (ODL):
- BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering
- B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level (with additional bridge courses)
- These students are required to successfully complete MCS-201 (Programming in C and Python) and MCS-208 (Data Structures and Algorithms) as bridge courses.
PGDCA (ODL):
- Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or Graduation level.
- Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years without Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or graduation level.
- These students are required to successfully complete BCS-012 (Graduate level Mathematics course) as a bridge course.

Note: Exam fee is not included in the fee structure.

All the courses will be in English. The minimum duration for BCA (Online/ODL) programs is 36 months, and the maximum duration is 72 months. The minimum duration for MCA (ODL) and PGDCA (ODL) programs is 24 months, and the maximum duration is 48 months.
